The Carolina Premium Beverage Sales team directly services over 2600 accounts across the Charlotte area. We pride ourselves on cultivating strong relationships with our customer partners by focusing on providing quality products, reliable service, and personal investment in their business. Doing this allows us to become the preferred beverage distributor of choice. Our sales team consists of three divisions that specialize in different segments of our customer base.

Convenience Store Sales Consultants represents Carolina Premium Beverage in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service to each account, which includes Chains such as Circle K, 7 Eleven, Sams Mart, Quik Trip, Speedway, Walgreens, Dollar General, Family Dollars, CVS, and local independent stores. We work with our customers to execute weekly and monthly programs through gaining distribution, building displays, ensuring price realization, keeping them in stock, and keeping fresh products through rotation. Our goal is to maintain a high-quality standard of service by building relationships and trust with our accounts, in order to gain/maintain the preferred distributor status among our accounts.

Grocery Sales Consultants represent Carolina Premium Beverage in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service to each account, that includes Chains such as Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Walmart, Publix, Total Wine, Target, and Club Stores. We work with them to execute weekly and monthly programs through building displays, plus service most of their accounts daily, helping them to stay in stock and keep fresh products through rotation. Our goal is to maintain a high-quality standard of service by building relationships and trust with our accounts, in order to gain/maintain the preferred distributor status among our accounts.
The grocery merchandising team helps sell 5,809,221 gallons of beer per year. That’s enough to fill 306 swimming pools full of beer a year!!!
We also deliver on average 1,721 tractor-trailer loads of beer per year to grocery stores, That’s 143 tractor-trailer loads per month at an average of 1,500ce’s.
The Merchandising team works in unison with the Grocery Sales Consultants and is responsible for breaking down pallets of our products, stocking the shelves, rotating products, maintaining displays, organizing back stock, recording out of stocks, and helping maintain great relationships with our accounts.
We are a progressive division in that we are equally split amongst gender with our sales consultants.
The Charlotte Tel-Sell position influences the most accounts amongst all positions from both companies.
On-Premise Sales Consultants represent Carolina Premium Beverage in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service to each account, that includes Chains such as Bottle Cap,
Hickory Tavern, Mac’s Speed Shop, BMG, BWW, Fox & Hound, Boardwalk Billy’s, and local independent accounts. We work with them to achieve their business goals by distributing and featuring brands and ensuring quality standards are upheld through rotation and line cleaning. Our goal is to maintain a high-quality standard of service by building relationships and trust with our accounts, in order to gain/maintain the preferred distributor status among our accounts.

Fresh Tap training and education requirements far surpass national standards for Draft Technicians
The Fresh Tap team works in unison with the On-Premise Sales team and is responsible for providing the very best service to our accounts with draft systems, and ensuring that all of the breweries we represent have the quality of beer they intended to get into the hands of consumers. A properly maintained draft system can make the difference in fresh and flavorful beer, with a perfect balance and presentation. As training is a priority for success, our technicians are taken through a thorough beer 101 course where they learn about the brewing process, our brands and breweries, and overall beer knowledge. This is followed by a draft system training course that goes in depth on all components of a system, and what is required to achieve a perfect pour. Our goal is to maintain a high-quality standard of service by building relationships and trust with our accounts, in order to gain/maintain the preferred distributor status among our accounts.
The Operations team at Carolina Premium Beverage is responsible for coordinating inbound shipments with our supplier partners, ensuring quality, and building orders for our retail customers. First and second shift employees will operate equipment such as a forklift, walkie rider, and electric pallet jack. They are expected to safely operate equipment and maintain high-quality standards using FIFO and order weight verification.
We keep to maintain half a million cases of beer in inventory while loading and shipping out an average of 28k cases daily to our customers.
Our 1st Shift warehouse employees are skilled at performing an array of duties such as receiving, processing, organizing, replenishing, and rotating incoming products from our supplier partners. This ensures quality standards are upheld for our consumers while maintaining a clean safe work environment for all our employees.
Our second shift picks enough beer on an annual basis that everyone in our entire service area with a population of 1.7 million people could enjoy a beer every day for over 3 months straight.
Our 2nd Shift warehouse consists of a fast-paced working environment for those that have a competitive drive. Our order selecting process calls for accurately picking and filling orders from pick-row, to building quality pallets for our shift loaders to load the trucks in an efficient and safe manner for our drivers, along with keeping a clean and safe environment for all our employees.
The Delivery team at Carolina Premium Beverage is responsible for representing the company in a professional manner and providing excellent customer service. The Driver operates a vehicle provided for their usage which requires a CDL A / B License. These vehicles range from a 10 Bay Truck to an 18 Bay Tandem or a 48 ft Tractor Trailer. The Driver will operate equipment such as a Hand Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, etc. They maintain a friendly, working relationship with all our customers. They are expected to safely deliver products to their specified accounts. The driver stocks all our products according to the type of account they are delivering to. This can be a Grocery Store / Convenience Store where they stock shelves and displays while maintaining the backstock area or a Bar / Restaurant where we deliver kegs to.
